# Idea

This article I will share about a very useful Add in. That’s caclulator in Ms Word. There may be similar Add in but it will be unique.

The idea of creating this cacluator is Add in HCaculartor in Excel in this article:

# CÁCH TẠO MÁY TÍNH – CALCULATOR BẰNG USERFORM VBA

Although I created Add in HCalculator in Excel, in a software used to process data it became useless. Along with my colleagues’ suggestions, I created Hcalculator Word version. That is not an easy process, because the VBA code in Word and in Excel is much different. The core formulas available in Excel are not available in Word. All right, no longer. Next, I will introduce some of the functions of Hcalculator Word version.

# Functions of Add in HCaculator

Below is the picture of Add in HCaculator

## Functions of Add in HCaculator

**Calculation based on virtual keys in the carulator:** You can use virtual keys in the HCaculator to perform calculations such as addition, subtraction, multiplication and division in Word.

**Calculations based on the keys in the computer keyboard:** In this section, in addition to the basic calculations, you can perform other calculations such as power, percentage. This is based on the formula you type in the box with the cursor as shown above. For example: If you type 1 + 2 press Enter 2 times, the result will be 3.

Another very useful function of HCaculator is that you can add the **sum of the numbers you have selected before opening Add in**. For example, if you select numbers 1,000 and 1.11 in the file, after turning on the HCaculator, the result is 1,001.11 as shown.

Although the above function is very interesting, you cannot use Ctrl + Click to select each number. To overcome this weakness, I developed the function of **adding numbers to be highlighted in yellow**. If you want to add the sum of the numbers, you’ll hinglight it with yellow. Then, choose any yellow number and turn on the HCaculator. You will get their sum.

One way to support your calculations on Word without having to use Excel support. You can download the HCaculator here.
